I stood on the branch I was high up maybe 20 or 30 feet up. I was watching the birds fly around hoping I could stay in that spot for hours. I suddenly lost my balance and slipped I quickly grabbed onto the branch holding on. Scared. I yelled for help. Hoping my dad, my brother, or anyone heard my cry's for help.
"Hope is that you" I heard a voice that I didn't recognize.
"Yes it's me I'm in the pine tree by the weeping willow" I yelled.
I was loosing my grip. My hands slipped and I fell again. I tried grabbing another branch but I couldn't grab it fast enough. I shut my eyes in terror. Then I stopped I opened my eyes I was on the ground and I was safe.
"Hope are you OK" I looked to where the voice came from and I saw James Potter standing by me.
All I could do was nod. I was terrified. I didn't even know how James had found me. I only new him from when dad took us to Harry's so he could go to work.
"Let's get you home. Your dad is worried about you. He called my dad saying that you were missing. What are you doing out here anyways?" he said.
"I was taking a walk but then I climbed the tree." I said quietly.
We walked back to my house. When we got there my dad was sitting at the table with his head in his hands. Albus was trying to calm Scorpius down.
"Hope!" my dad said when he saw me.
"Hope!" Scorpius jumped up and ran to me.
I was hugged by my father and brother. I was still scared. My dad suddenly let go of me.
"What were you thinking! You left without telling me! You could have died out there!" my dad yelled.
James, Albus, and Scorpius were the only one watching. Harry, Ginny, and Lily sent Albus and James to come help find me.
"She almost...." James started but I gave him a look to shut up.
"Dad I'm sorry" I said quietly.
Then I ran to my room. I shut the door and locked it then looked out the window crying. I heard a knock on the door.
"Who is it?" I said still crying.
"It's James, Albus, and Scorpius" I heard my brother say.
I went to the door and unlocked it letting them in. I sat back down and wiped away the tears that stained my face.
"Are you OK?" Albus asked.
I shook my head no.
Scorpius, James, and Albus sat around me. Trying to make me feel better.
"Hope it's OK" James said.
"No it's not. Wait why aren't you guys back at your house?" I asked.
"Our mum is gonna come pick us up. I don't know when though" said Albus.
"Hope," Scorpius said "Dad and I were just really worried. That's why he yelled at you"
"But he was right I almost died" I said looking at the ground.
Scorpius and Albus looked shocked. James had seen it all happen, so he didn't look shocked.
"James saved me" I said still looking at the ground.
"H-How did you almost die?" Scorpius asked still in shock.
"I fell from a tree"
"Why were you in a tree" Albus asked.
I knew these questions would never end.
"Guys stop asking her questions. She was terrified" James said.
I looked up and looked at James. He had never stuck up for me before. Then again I've never fallen out of a tree before.
