Diary Of A First Year Hufflepuff

Alex is a first year from a muggle family and even worse sorted into Hufflepuff. But she soon finds out that being in hufflepuff is a good thing.Even better she shows the mean Gryfondor and Slitheren boys even the snooty Ravenclaw girls who's boss. With some help from Alex a gryfondor boy and Emma her friend in hufflepuff.

Day one: The Sorting
Chapter 1
"Hello is this seat taken" I asked a boy about my height who was siting alone "N-No" he replied. As soon as I sat down I said "Hi my name is Alex, Alex Jones "
"My name is Alex too! Except my last name is Jackson " he said excitedly
"Wow that is so weird I just come into the compartment with someone who has the same name as me" I replied
"So what house do you want to be in when we get there?" Alex asked
"Um... I am muggle born so I don't know" I said a little worried that he'd pick on me
" Oh well that's ok just because I am pure blood does not mean I think that all muggle born are below me I'll tell you about the houses" he comforted me . So he told me all about the four houses about the bravest one gryfondor, the smartest one ravenclaw, the snake one slitheren, and the kindest one hufflepuff. "So Alex what house do you want to be sorted into?" he asked me
"Well I guess Hufflepuff" I told him
"Nice I want to be sorted into gryfondor" he replied as we got our robes on then the train stopped we got off the train with our stuff and followed the voice that said "firs' years over here" I followed the voice to the source the person who spoke was huge we followed him on to boats.It was so dark by the time we saw the castle it was so beautiful the lights stood out on the black sky when we got to the castle we were walked in by a stern looking woman who then told us to wait where we were so we just talked a lot until she came back. Alex and I held hands as we were led into a big hall where a lot of big kids. There was a big old dusty hat on a stool and right next to it was the woman she held a piece of paper and started calling out names. One by one the people next to us were sorted then "Jackson, Alex" she called he stepped up and as soon as the hat touched his head it yelled "Gryfondor". I clapped and clapped then "Jones, Alex" I stepped up and the hat was placed on my head "hm... Interesting gryfondor or hufflepuff a kind mind very tough and strong" it said then yelled "hufflepuff" I ran to the hufflepuff table were I sat down shyly after I heard some slitherens laughing at me. I did not talk to any one until Ginny Weasly was placed into gryfondor, "Hi my name's Emma you seem quiet" a young girl said as she clapped for Ginny. We ended up liking each other and becoming friends Emma seemed really nice she's a half-blood not that it matters. We were led to our dorms by a prefect, and we fell on our beds and slept.
