Winter and Capture

Chapter 7
Kirito was doing his best to keep up with Fallon and the cat who's name was supposedly 'Star'. It was technically possible that animals could talk, he'd seen it before but still, it reminded of him of someone he had known, before that person had died, that was he thought bitterly. He felt some type of movement on his back and could tell that Kabel was up. "Hey buddy, feeling okay?" He asked, while doing his best not to drop him. "You were out a bit, so yeah. Rocks and trees. If you look to your left you will see trees." he said while pointing to the left with his free hand and then adding "And to your right you see more tree. Lovely right?" he asked but it was more of a statement than a question.

Shadows yowled up to Star who glanced back and circled back herding the trio into a paw shaped clearing and promptly disappeared

Wildfire woke up from a drugged sleep and heard voices arguing, one she recognized as Crystal's. the other she had heard before but couldn't quite place her finger on. "YOU'LL NEVER GET AWAY WITH THIS YOU SLIMY SEA BA-Mph!!!" a voice shouted from the other side of the dark room before being gaged more tightly "Winter? se ke ou?"

Kirito glanced around the clearing. It was like the cat wanted them to look around. He sighed and noticed a couple ways off was a cave. He sighed and set down Kabel, who was slowly growing to much of a weight to bare. He then glanced at Fallon, who was quietly listening to everything around them, her eyes were closed. From a normal eye, someone might think she was trying to fall asleep but Kirito could tell she was hard at work.

Kabel woke with a start. his head no longer throbbed... weird. hed deal with that later though. he was sitting in a clearing, with Kiro and Fallon standing off a ways. Fallon looked like she was trying to sleep standing up, or something. but... he looked closer at her eyelids. her eyes were moving underneath, rapidly. he wondered what she was doing. perhaps listening to everyones mind, he didnt know. he lied down in the grass, putting his hands behind his head, staring up into the sky. it perturbed him, but he had nothing better to do. "whiskerface wants us to stay here then, i presume?" he looked down at Kiro and Fallon

they returned to Dawning Bronze who smiled at the tigresses and jumped out of the cave and pretended to be mad howling, growling and foaming at the mouth from Betra root /\/:\/\ Winter smiled "hey Wild. let's get out of here." Wildfire lit herself on fire and tossed a ball to Winter who made vines snap Wildfire's cuffs, snapping them quickly "aaaand we're off." Winter said as the voices stopped "tihs." Wildfire extinguished her flames and they ran down a tunnel.

Kirito didn't reply, instead he walked over to a nicely sized tree. Without warning, he jumped 5 feet in the air, trapping one of the tree's branches and pulling himself up. He then kept climbing up. Not once did he look down, in fact he kept going toward the top without a hint of worry. After a minute, kirito's head pooped out at the top of the tree, allowing him to see above. He found a branch that was sturdy enough to support his weight before sitting on it and glancing down at the others. He was a good 25-35 feet in the air, somewhere in that range. He sighed and then realized something. he reached into his satchel, searching for something before pulling out a scroll with a black leather binding over it. he slowly unwrapped it and looked down at the contents that were on it, he sighed and glanced out toward were the sun was slowly rising again. He watched it for a few minutes before he heard a shriek of terror down below. Immediately He jumped down, ignoring the pain in his right eg when he landed. He looked around to see that fallon was no where to be seen. He quickly shoved the scroll back into his bag and walked over to where Kabel had been. There was a couple small signs of a type of struggle, other than that, there was nothing. The only tracks Kirito could make out were ones of Kabel's and Fallon's no one else's. And they stopped at the edge of the clearing.

Kabel watched Kiro skitter the tree through the corner of his vision, not really wanting to tilt his head. actually, as much as he enjoyed imagining people climbing trees as skittering, it was more like slingshotting over every branch. kinda weird, but hey, who was he to judge? hed just amoebaed around the trees then threw himself out of them thinking he could slow down and catch himself. he looked the opposite direction, where the sun was beginning to climb the horizon, much in the manner of Kiro's climbing. the hulking sillhouettes of the Kal starships made it ragged and inconsistent. everyone said susets and sunrises were beautiful, but it looked more violent than anything to him. like the sun was coming to impose its tyrrany, beginning by slaughtering the clouds, and-- ok, now his thoughts were just getting dark. he took a deep breath, then let it out slowly. he was just going to lie down and relax for once-- but nope. someone grabbed him from behind, shoved something sharp against his back, and before he knew what was happening-- but not before he slugged someone with a hard rock fist, who exactly he was not sure-- but other than that, he simply didnt have any stone to slug anyone with. including his legs. a few times he threw some around, but he was too high in the air. ...or perhaps in the trees? he didnt know. he was panicking. he was terrified. he was... out cold.

Kirito muttered angrily to himself. "Oh course once I let my guard down everything goes haywire. " He glanced around, both of them were gone, so were the two fuzzy whiskers. And not to mention Wildfire, and that other girl, winter. "Great, what am I suppose to do now. Everyone's gone."

Fallon had been listening to the thoughts around her, except for Kirito's thoughts. For an odd reason. There was like a wall in front of his mind. She had tried before to get into his head when she couldn't tell what expression he had one time but ti was like an invisible wall or force blocked her path. It was weird, but interesting. And the wall/force only made her want to look in his head more but eventually she had stopped trying after the first to ttys. Fallon opened her eyes to look at Kabel only to Have someone hit her on the back of the head. Her vision got blurry. She could tell someone- no, multiple someones were standing in front of her. You could only glimpse that before going out cold

Kabel managed to open his eyes, just barely. then a branch hit him square in the face, and he closed them again. he had caught a glimpse of the sillhouette of his captor, ish. they looked fairly humanoid he guessed, but by now he wasnt sure. he could feel strong hands on his arms and somethign like a gag on his mouth. it was unsettling. more so considering he was flying through the trees at an insane speed.

All Fallon could see was darkness. She could tell that there were people near, but all she heard was a buzzing noise. She lifted her head, but strangely enough, it was like a mask or something was over her face, almost like blocking her way to not only see but also her telepathic powers as well. She sighed in annoyance. Having no memory for the past 6 months had really been annoying but having a mask over her face was even more annoying than having no memory of the past. She tried to wriggle herself out of whoever's grip she was in but ended up being held tighter. Her hands also seemed to be bound. Clearly this person knew her well. She could tell that they were flying, but as to where, she had no clue.

Kirito didn't like flying while in daylight. It was harder to stay hidden and plus usually it was warmer, which soemtimes bothered him. He was fuming with anger. "Of course, one moment I leave, it's like they think they don't have to follow rules or anything." He muttered to himself unhappily. "If I find who took them.." he said, his face full of determination, "I'll burn them to a crisp."

Winter reached the top first the Wildfire barreled into her and they rolled down a steep hill "ugh. you're heavy" Winter groaned and pushed Wildfire off of her. "god." as something flew over head blocking the sun. soon a stone thing burst through the clearing trailing the ship carrying something also "soot i forgot about Pyro." Wildfire got up as it crashed back into the forest "what have you done now Kabel." helping Winter up they tried to make their way down the path the golem had made

Dawning Bronze watched as people took the ones on the ground. after they left, and the guy in the tree left. Shadows snarled "why didn't you stop those Fallen Stars." Dawning Bronze turned towards her "Shadows organize a tracking patrol. no questions asked." when she had left he muttered "i'm getting Amber Rain back." and took off with them

Kabel heard howling... or yowling? he didnt know. some big creature. the tigers? his heart gave a little jump. perhaps he wouldnt be brutally murdered after all! then he hit a thick branch. "ow..." he groaned. it was weird, hearing it muffled through the gag thing. where could they possibly be going? he looked back through the days events, trying to build a mental map of the forest. he quickly realized, however, it would be unneeded. he was way out of any place they had gone. the thing was going really fast still. geez. where were they going that they needed to be flying so fast? where... oh. oh, no. the starships. he opened his eyes a bit, very quickly. they were still in the forest, and the ships were still in the sky. they were going the opposite direction, too. weird... very weird...

Wildfire turned around, still supporting Winter when Dawning Bronze crashed through the trees and tackled them "Wildfire. where are they." he hissed and panted "who? Kabel? idk i saw a ship or something flying and then his rock golem was following behind fast, this is the trail it made. oh and Winter kind of needs help." Winter let out a moan "i don't think she's eaten in awhile." Wildfire cringed as her ribs poked into her sides

After awhile, Fallon eventually decided to stop struggling. It was pointless to struggle anyway. She could tell they were still in the forest, thanks to being hit twice already from what she thought had been some brfanches on a tree. She sighed and tried her best to get comfortable. As she that, she noticed that the speed that they had previously been doing was slowly dropping, just ever so slowly. {π√/\√π} Kirito was speeding as fast as he could go, ignoring the fact he was wasting tons of his engery. He needed to catch up to Fallon and Kabel as fast as possible, along with the one who had taken them. "I should have been able to catch up by now.." He said and sped up, flying right by Fallon, Kabel and the guy who had taken them. Kirito froze and raced backwards.
