Dear Mum, Dear Dad
Chapter 1
Dear mum,
Dear dad,
You're tormenting the one life I have
All the arguments, all the rows,
Saying you regret your wedding vows
Hatred, anger, it ain't safe to contain it
There's no other pain that I can relate it
You argue every night, squabble and bicker
You threatened to throw dads PC to the vicker
And he threatened to break your nose
He's been cheating, everyone knows
But in secret, you've been loving the milkman
Forget him or you're gonna end up in the hospital again
And I'm kinda shocked that I wrote this
You blamed him when the cat contracted toxoplatmosis
It breaks my heart to see all the pain you cause
Leaving the words and the hits and the scars
Me, Hunt and Saf, we already picking teams
For the day you finally tear this family from the seams
World War Three, atomic bombs
Equivalent to the war over in Vietnam
Word bullets sprayed in no particular direction
Going crazy like a psycho with a handgun
All the things you've said,
Never gonna leave my mind
Permanently stained it, melded on
Can't remember the last time you were kind
You always say you love us, prove its true
If you're holding onto me, I'll be holding onto you
I remember back when I was 12
And you were arguing in the kitchen
You threatened to beat dad into submission
Because your MOT certificate was missing
You threw a hit, he blocked the punch
Ran to the toilet, threw up my lunch
But dad didn't give a f*ck
He was sleeping with some sl*t
Saffron found you and said some muck
At school about how she wants to cut
And that's the effect, the pain in our membrane
You need to stop, I'm already clinically insane
But you still don't give a f*ck!
Even when I try to cut!
Bleed from my wrists til I fill the bathtub!
And mum, to you, I hope you hear this
You always diss dad because he can't get up his fitness
You always shout, never just talk
Even when we're out on a family walk
It's always someone else's fault, you always find a scapegoat
Saying you wanna wrap your fingers around dads throat Squeeze and squeeze until he can't breath no more
Stop with the torment, stop with the ripping of the shirts Stop all the sh*t that makes us go berserk
I'm always here for you, but where are you when I need ya? I ask for a question, you become a preacher
Hunt already has depression
Saf has developed an obsession
My anxiety is worsening
And you just don't care!
You just wanna tell us what to do
I can't pick a parent, when you split up
That's when I will really stop giving a f*ck
Im trying to help, stop blaming me for this
When I'm gone, then I'll be missed
So once you're done, and your kids are gone
Then you'll realise what you've done
Dear dad,
