But,Just in Vain
Chapter 25
Once I tried to run and race,
With an aeroplane rising high
I ran and it ran ahead,
With the wind slashing by
I sweat and ran and sweat and ran
To get ahead of the plane
I jogged and jogged and fell and fell
But, just in vain!
Once I tried to wrestle and hit
A mighty brown bear
I hurt it and it hurt me back
As I attacked at its hair
I punched and kicked and punched and kicked
To cause it much pain
I hit and bumped and hit and bumped
But, just in vain!
Once I tried to collect and catch
The drops of rain that pour
I got it and it got away
And hand was left dry and sore
I jumped and caught and jumped and caught
To get the tiny drops of rain
I gripped and held and gripped and held
But,just in vain!
With an aeroplane rising high
I ran and it ran ahead,
With the wind slashing by
I sweat and ran and sweat and ran
To get ahead of the plane
I jogged and jogged and fell and fell
But, just in vain!
Once I tried to wrestle and hit

I hurt it and it hurt me back
As I attacked at its hair
