Once the moon braved the Sun
And came out in the day
And boasted to its fellow stars
How she defied the Sun's ray!

The Sun flew into a rage
On seeing Moon in the sky
He marched over there
How orders she defy?

Grumpily he scolded her,
Dost thou know, what thou have done?
Your commands I will not follow!
Replied Moon, glaring at the Sun.

Dost Thou know who Thou are talking to?
Shouted the Sun angry!
I am talking to just a Bluffing Star!
Answered Moon placidly!

Luna, Thou don't argue with me!
Screamed the Sun on Moon!
Thou dare scream on me!
Said she, turning red-maroon!

The Sun burst a burning ball
Which took away Moon's light
And the Moon aimed a chunk of rock
Which freezed Sun's flight

All the world came to see
The epic day, many years ago!
And they named the epic moment
The Lunar-Solar Row!
