Down the so-called heart
Journeyed I, long asleep
To know what dwells?
Dug I deep and deep

Sudden landed I
Amid dried leaves, old
To be sacrificed
To a pyre shining gold

Alike thoughts ablaze,
Leaves burnt aglow
Alike choices forgotten
Anon to ashes low

Amid all the rituals
Swinging a lass high
Alike the young me,
Memories passing by

Heart -shaped olive branches
Guarding the little child
Alike parents guarding me
In terrains hard and wild

And at last, a moon heart
Alike peace, never apart
