The Orange Ring
Chapter 5
"Oh, well... great. I'm happy I was able to help," I said as I walked away.
"Wait!" the girl cried. I walked back to her. She plucked an orange stone from the lake. With a motion of her hand, she tuned the stone into a ring. She handed the orange stone ring to me. She smiled as I put on the ring. It fit perfectly!
"A little thank you!" the girl gleamed. I smiled lightly at her.
"Thank you for this," I smiled. She gleamed before her and her fish disappeared underneath the waters surface. I grabbed my broom and flew back into the air, my new ring shining in the sunlight.
By the the time I got back to Hogwarts, Jacob was no longer at the quidditch field. I quickly ran up to my dorm, put my broom back, and continued with my classes.
