Just a normal day
Chapter 1
It was just a normal day in that sunny day in July. I had gone out to the quidditch field to play some
Quidditch. I slowly walked down the hall to the field. As I got there, I noticed there was someone already at the field, and as they flew past me on their Firbolt, the wind from the broom flew all my boy short hair into my face. I chuckled as I grabbed my broom and went to the center of the field. The grass felt good against my feet as I kicked off the floor, soaring into the air on my trusty broomstick. I looked down to see the person flying up to me. He smiled at me as he saw who I was.
He was a little first year named Jacob. I had babysat him when he was younger, before we both came to Hogwarts. He lived right down my street.
"Hello Jacob!" I smiled.
"Hey Jacqueline!" He beamed as he flew up to me.
"Getting some flying practice for next year?" I asked him. He was going to by trying out for seeker next year, and he wanted to get really fast to make the team. I was one Hufflepuff chasers.
"Yeah. How do you make it look so easy?!" He exclaimed. I chuckled lightly.
"Lots of practice little one. Lots of practice," I smiled.
"Well, I'm gonna take a little fly around, would you like to join me?" I asked Jacob.
"Nah that's ok, I gotta practice anyways," he said.
"Suit yourself!" I yelled as I flew off into the distance. I was really high, and I looked down. I could see everything from here. Hogsmeade, Hogwarts, the Forbidden Forest, all of it. I smiled, but then I heard a yell. My smiled quickly faded, as I heard the scream. It was coming from the Forbidden Forest. I soared down there as fast as I could.
