This creature is a native dragon found in New Zealand. But, it's known to be found in Australia where it migrates. For a dragon, it's unusually found to live in the mountains. It's not small and not big, so it's in the middle for size. It is has pearly scales and glittering, multicolored eyes with no pupils. The defensive object the dragon owns is a light, scarlet flame that comes out of it's mouth. It rarely kills, but if it had to kill, it would prefer sheep. It's known to hunt larger prey though. The Antipodean Opaleye's eggs are pale grey that are mistaken for fossils by Muggles.
