The Silent funeral
Chapter 1
"I am So sorry, darling!" the woman said, hugging my grandmother. "Thank you so much for coming, Elizabeth!" Grandmother said, shaking the woman's hand. I felt that the woman looked really fake: with too much makeup and jewelry. I didn't understand why everyone was pouring into our home and crying on my grandparents shoulder. They were saying that my parents were dead. I didn't believe that! Who would kill my parents?! They were too good to be killed by some random people. "Grandma! What are you..." I started. "Natalie, darling! Why don't you go and play with Blake?" Elizabeth interrupted me. She dragged a small boy from behind her and pushed him to me. "Go and play!" she said hastily. Blake went and sat on a bench and gestured for me to come and and sit beside him. I sat next to him and glanced at his mother and back at him again. "Is that your mother?" I asked him, incredulously. "She's my stepmother!" he replied. I nodded and looked at my grandfather who had walked over to grandma and Elizabeth. "How does it feel without your parents?" he asked me, curiously. "I don't know" I shrugged. For the next few days, Elizabeth stayed at my home. So did her son, Blake We played a lot and I had a lot of fun. " Do you know about Hogwarts?" he asked me one day, on a swing. "Yes! My parents went there! They became aurors!" I told him proudly. He smiled at me and continued swinging. The next day, they left and it became depressing again. My grandparents did all kinds of amusing things to cheer me up... but the thing was done...
SIX YEARS LATER (5TH JUNE)
"Natalie, dear!" my grandma shouted. I groaned and woke up. I got off my bed and brushed my teeth. "NATALIE!" my grandma screamed again. I skipped down the stairs. "I am up!" I announced as I walked into the living room. "Happy Birthday, Natalie!" my grandma said, as she kissed my forehead. "Its my birthday!" Wow! That was very rare! I smiled at my grandma. "And here is a cupcake for my little princess!" she said, handing me a strawberry cupcake. "Thanks!" I said, smiling and sitting on a chair. "Where's Grandpa?" I asked curiously. "Some emergency in the Azkaban prison" she said shuddering. Grandma hated the prison. Suddenly, the door opened and Grandpa appeared in the living room. "A big fuss for nothing! The warden..." he saw me and smiled big. "Natalie! My darling!" he shouted and hugged me. "Here is my gift!" he said, smiling brightly. I opened it and LOVED the gift. It was an album containing family photos of everyone in my family. My parents and me... Aunt Elizabeth... and her son Blake. I had seen him many years ago. It was a picture which was taken this year. He was grinning and waving at me (magical pics can move, remember?) I smiled at Grandpa. "Thanks so much! Its wonderful!" I told him. He smiled excitedly and glanced at grandma. "Here is my gift" she whispered mysteriously. "Its a muggle object but..." I looked at her eagerly. Grandma always said that muggle objects were not to be dealt with.
