so there's a book, a really old book and a girl, who's not quite that old, and shit happens but the end is really cool I promise you. This is an unrated story but I swear I won't get too dirty in it, I might swear though... Hope you read!

Kate Aspen walked the aisles of her parents library, stopping here and there to put away the books on her cart. She had just put the last one away when one the lowest shelf, she saw the book. It was black, with a leather, slightly-charred cover, and so, so thick.
She put it into her cart, to read later, and went about her work for the day.
Much later, laying in bed, tryin but failing to sleep, she remembered it. Picking it up, she began to read.

The story was a horrible one about a young boy, about her age, who found a book. He read it and eventually began to write a journal in it.
As she read, the entries became more and more frantic, until one page says simply; "I'm going to burn it."
There are no more entries after that.
