Usually wands are only described in terms of the source tree, its core and its length. However, occasionally, the firmness or flexibility of the wand wood has also been described. This rigidity of the wood is said to show the characterizes of the wand's ability and willingness to change or adapt to it's user. The rigidity of the wand is of course dictated more so by the wood and core paired with that particular wood type. A wands rigidity will generally range from "Unyielding" to "Springy". Though there are rare cases of extreme rigidities. The best time to gauge your wand's rigidity is when it has bonded to you. For once it is bond to you, the wand will show its true properties. Remember, rigidity of wands is not an exact science (as is most of Wandlore) so keep an open mind when studying wand properties.
