Chapter 2
Meanwhile in the near-empty streets of London, 11-year-old Matilda was practicing her violin. Her sister was accompanying her on the piano. Together they were playing a piece Matilda loved titled called, 'Quiet.' Matilda finished off the piece with a grand strike of her bow on the strings. Matilda turned around to face her sister Peggy. Matilda ran her fingers through her short brown hair. She took out the red headband and put it on the oaken table. She grabbed the edges of her navy blue dress and did a little curtsy.
Peggy stood up from the bench and curtsied back in her poofy, silken dress. "That's the best practice we've had yet." Peggy encouraged.
"Thanks." Matilda said, beaming. "What's this?" She asked picking up a note that was laying on her four-poster bed. The note read:
Dear Princess Matilda,
I am sorry for leaving in such a rush earlier today. I have taken the Royal Toyota, but I will return it. I am heading to New Paris to think some things over. I will return in about three days.
From,
Royal Prince Zachary.
