Wow, look how much the time has gone! I've been so busy it's not even real. Plus they keep us working right up to Christmas :( how unfair!

First things first, when I got down to the Great Hall, something was different. They were playing music! They had speakers on, and there's now a Hogwarts radio station, called Wrockbox. I would love to DJ- of course, that's not open to firsties :( But it's really good, because this way I can learn more about wizard music, and that's alway a good conversation topic.

So in potions today, the teacher was talking about the different effects of potions. I put up my hand and asked, "miss, will we be able to make a polyjuice potion?"

The whole class stared at me really strangely, like I'd asked something terrible. The teacher froze, and said, "You won't be needing to know about that for a good few years." Then, she turned back and began explaining the effects of the Statute of Wizarding Secrecy on potion brewing.

I thought that was so weird. This is getting very mysterious. Curiouser and curiouser, as someone once said...

I met this ravenclaw afterwards, called Alexander Jordan, and we had a discussion about felix felicis, and our thoughts on it's legality. He seemed really intelligent, he explained Chaos Theory to me. I might ask him about polyjuice potion later, but I didn't want to ask him then because it might have seemed like I was obsessed.

After school, I went to the elemental magic club, where, as per usual, none was there, except the group leader. I asked him for his name, and you'll never guess! Jared Light Wolf. As in, JLW. I've found him! I've found my JLW! I asked him what it was, and how to make it, and we've agreed to meet up this time next week, when he's acquired all the necessary ingredients. He's got a fridge he's created that has the ability to extend potions lifetime. I gave him my babbling beverage (which I was starting to get panicky about because it's about to go off) to keep safe. I'm so excited! I can turn into someone else.
