Third Chapter - A Introductory Guide to Duel

On of the most important part of magic is the ancient practise of the duel. Duel shows our abilities and our weakness so it's so important to learn some basic spells for dueling just as a traditional art we have to make survived. Apart from that duel can be a really interesting and funny part of magic, however we the study of these spells have to be serious.

The first charm to enter in the duel world is called the Disarming Charm, which consists of disarming your opponent, even it can pull dowm him if it is perform with a high level of power. To realise the charm you have to spell "Expelliarmus" and your rival's wand will fly away of his hand.

Another important point in duel is the defense, a good defense could be the best attack. The charm I'm talking about is the Shield Charm which blocks spells and physical entities. It is the most popular defense charm, to perform it you have to spell "Protego" and during a short moment a invisible shield will appear in front of you a protect from an enemy spell, even repel it and send against him. (At the last chapter we will see some differents types of employing this charm).

Now we will see some really beneficial charms in a duel or even a battle:

-The Stunning Spell, is the most popular charm in dueling which have the function to leave your opponent unconscious and also halts moving objects. To perform it you have to spell "Desmaius" and a red or blue ray that will hit your rival. If some more wizards participate on doing this charm to the opponent will have more potience.

-The Impediment Jinx, it's a charm that slows your opponent, paralyses a few minutes also hurting him a little but the prime of this charm it makes him vulnerable. The do it you have to say "Impedimenta".

-The Revulsion Jinx is a charm which forces a person to release its hold on something, or even repels the person if it is perform with much power. To produce this you have to spell "Relashio", sometime it is said "Relaxo", it doesn't matter. An unusual fact of this charm is that underwater it produces boiling water.
