Thana.
written by Hannah Rose
Thana means Death. That's what my parents told me. That's why kids call me Thana. It isn't my real name though. I don't use my real name. It doesn't suit me. I'm no Heroin. I am not my father. AUTHOR NOTE: The prequel to Hufflepuff! This is how and why Thana became who she is during my previous book. Honestly, I didn't expect people to like my book so much! Soo... Here's the next one!

Chapter 3: Darkness
Chapter 3
I'm floating. Drifting through large expanses of great dark fog. On the other side there's light. I can't move. Darkness swirls around me. Covering every last inch. Light tries to inch through the mass only to be stopped by the dark flicking it away and tightening itself around my body. I feel calm. Safe.
Suddenly I cry out in pain. The dark pierces through my skin and into my body. I feel strange. Ready. Ready to use my spell. The dark consumes my mind. Painfully reshaping it. I can see a figure in the distance. Through the fog shrouding my eyes. It's tall. Handsome. Brown tousled hair. Red eyes? And...slit-like nostrils...
I panic struggling against the bounds that hold me tight.
"Hush child." He speaks. His voice almost a whisper. "You have power...That spell. It's more powerful than imperio itself."
I try and relax. It's a dream, right?
"This light. It is your father, Thana." He looks straight at me. His piercing red eyes focused on mine. "You must denounce him. To truly be great."
"Why...why me?" I whisper. Nervous, but for some reason, not terrified.
"You are the daughter I wanted. Not that Delphi girl."
"B-but"
"Le'stranges madness and devotion got to her." He seamed sad. Not that he could be, right? "She was never my daughter."
With that he walked away. Leaving her.
"Wait!" I don't know why I said it. But I felt some kinship with ...Tom. Tom Riddle.
"Why?"
"because I need you!"
"Me?"
"You can be the father I wish I had."
He smiled. "Of course. Daughter."
