Thana.
written by Hannah Rose
Thana means Death. That's what my parents told me. That's why kids call me Thana. It isn't my real name though. I don't use my real name. It doesn't suit me. I'm no Heroin. I am not my father. AUTHOR NOTE: The prequel to Hufflepuff! This is how and why Thana became who she is during my previous book. Honestly, I didn't expect people to like my book so much! Soo... Here's the next one!

Chapter 1: Him...
Chapter 1
The train closes to a halt. I stand up. My 'friends' are all around me. I say 'friends' because they only hang around with me because of, well...Him. I am nothing like Him. Still, people just want to say I'm their friend. Even though I'm a Hufflepuff and my best spells are the type He advises against. My older brother pops his head around the compartment door.
"Hey Badger!" He yells. Ugh... I hate that name. "Mum and dad are outside. Come on!" My friends hurry up. They only want to see Him.
"Seriously Snake-Breath?" I scoff. "You know those girls only hang with me because of...Him"
"You know you could call him by his name-"
"Don't! Even think about saying His name." I glared at him. He shrugged. We exited the compartment and walked off the train towards Mother and Him.
"Hey! Sweetie!" Mother hugged me "How's my little l-"
"It's Thana, Mother."
"I...I know." She sighed looking at me. More importantly at my hair. It used to be a vivid orange shade. Then I dyed it black and blue. As a statement that I wouldn't be my father. That was the same year I changed my name, Much to my mothers dismay.
"Let your mother call you by your name." That's m-Him
"Why? I changed it, didn't I."
He sighed.
"Ugh."
"Listen, uh...Thana. It's the beginning of summer. So I'm gonna give you a bit of leeway, for this...Phase you're going through."
"It is not a phase."
"Of course it's not."
I walk away. I don't want to be around them. It's not fair. James was a Gryffindor, Albus was a Slytherin and me? I am a Hufflepuff. The quiet house that just sits in the corner and doesn't do anything useful!
It's not fair.
I'll use my spell. The one I made up using the memory one and imperio. No one will think I'm useless.
Not when I control my father.
Not when I control the Boy Who Lived.
Not when I control Harry Potter.
