The Cage
Chapter 1
Society is a cage
In which we are all locked inside
It is a cage with no key
A cage without a door
Only cold, grey, iron bars
Once you enter the cage
You can't leave
Like a jailer throwing you in a cell
Or a baby bird confined to its nest
Some choose not to enter the cage
Some go willingly
Some wander
Some people trip and fall into the cage
And some push others into the abyss
But no matter the method
We are all here together
In this cage
Our cage
Your cage
My cage
