Ludwig Van Beethoven was born sometime in December, 1770 in the city of Bonn, Germany. Although the exact date of his birth is uncertain, we estimate he was born around the sixteenth. Beethoven was baptized on December 17, 1770. Beethoven died on March 26, 1827, at the age of fifty-six. Decades ad decades and decades later, an autopsy revealed that the most probable reason for his death was post-hepatitic cirrhosis of the liver.
