Chapter 3
Potions
My first lesson today was potions. Older students warned me about the teacher, Severus Snape, but I didn’t think that he would take 20 points from Gryffindor for me getting the answer to a question wrong. I think he overreacted a little when I spilt some of my powdered bicorn horn. So now, Gryffindor is on -15 points already! Luckily, we earned a few of those points back in Charms.
History of Magic
History of Magic is the best lesson ever! I don’t know how everyone else was falling asleep, literally. I had to nudge the person sat next to me at the end of the lesson. I found it so intriguing and I did my homework during lunch. That was partly because I had nothing else to do, but it was actually quite fun. :)
Charms
I just did my charm’s homework which was so boring. The lessons here are quite fun but the homework is the most boring thing ever. I sat next to another boy for this lesson. He kept picking his nose and wiping his hands on his shirt. HE WAS SO GROSS! Anyway, we learnt how to do a levitating charm. You have to say ‘Wingardium Leviosa’ and do a swish and a flick motion with your wand.
