Chapter 1-Welcome to our house.
Chapter 1
"Hi! You're the new kid? Anyway. Welcome to the common room. Enjoy it while you can.
Oh don't look alarmed! I meant enjoy until you leave in year seven. 'cos then, well, you wont be here anymore...
Ok then time to get you settled in!!"
You find yourself being guided towards a thick armchair by the fire. Everyone in the immediate vicinity leaves at a sharp look from...What was her name again?
"I'm Thana, by the way. Hufflepuff prefect!"
She sits you down on the chair.
"Just relax now. I'll get you a butter beer!"
You try and relax but an uneasy feeling crawls up your spine. You don't know what it is.
"Here's your butter beer!"
She's back.
"I like this common room."
You try to agree but she carries on before you can say anything.
"It's cosy. It's quiet. I especially like it being quiet."
Two girls walked into the room their voices dropped to a whisper as soon as they saw you and Thana.
"Don't worry you'll learn to be quiet too. these girls just need more time."
She leaves you there to drink your butter beer
You grow tired and your mind feels fuzzy. Thana's voice is echoing in your head.
"Don't worry...Learn to be quiet too."
"Don't worry..."
"Be quiet too..."
"Don't worry..."
"Learn..."
"Be quiet..."
