After Minerva came,I asked my parents when we could go to diagon alley and to get all my stuff. They said "we could go tomorrow and trade our money but I do not know how much we will need. I will just take 1000 dollars,after all you should get some candy and a pet. You should also get some extra books". Once he said that I was super happy! The next day me and my dad went to diagon alley,my mom could not come because she needed to work. Once we entered,the first thing we did was to go trade the money. Then we went to go get my books. We entered the store and I put all the books I needed plus books that interested me. Then we went to get the other equipment like the scales,the cauldron and the potions ingredients. After that we went to get my robes and my pet. I decided that I wanted to get a small,cute brown owl and I named him Ruffles. Then we went to the candy store named Honeydukes and I got jelly slugs,chocolate frogs,Bertie botts every flavor beans and some sugar quills. After that I got quills and ink and a lot of parchment. After that there was only one thing left to do,and that was to get a wand. We walked into the shop and I saw huge piles of boxes piled up to the ceiling. I picked one and waved it. A nice warmth came to my body. The shop keeper said that this wand was to be mine. It was made of a spin wood,it had a dragon heart string core and was 10 and 3/4 long. We still had some money left so my dad gave it to me so I could get some sweets on the train. Once we got home I knew that that was the best day of my life.
