The day of the letter
Chapter 4

It was the day of my birthday so my parents had canceled the doctor apointment I had for that day.About the doctor,even after I started going,I kept making strange things happen. Anyways,back to my birthday. It was July 16 and a wendsday. I had invited all of my friends to laser tag (a muggle game)and pizza. It was nothing special,just a normal 11 year old kid's party. As gifts,I had gotten a really cool yo-yo,a big box of candy,some lip gloss, an i pad (a muggle electronic)case and a lot of books. After the party I had gone to the movie theater (a muggle building used to watch films and eat yummy snacks) with my mom,my dad,my sister and my brother. We saw a movie called Sing and we got a lot of popcorn and soda (popcorn is a popular muggle snack that is crunchy and buttery ,soda is a popular muggle fizzy drink that comes in many different flavors). Once we got home I went strait to my room to read my new books,when suddenly a owl had come flying in through the window above my head, and I saw that it held a letter in his beak. I took the letter and read it in my head. It said,
Dear Ms.Mikayelyan,
We are pleased to inform you that you have been exepted in Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Since you are from a muggle (non-magical) family,a representitive of our school will come tommarow and explain the situation to you and you parents. You will find the list of material required in closed in the paper below. Thank you and have a great day.
I did not know what to do,I belived the letter because of the strange things I have been doing,but I did not think my parents would. I decided to go and talk to them.
