Chapter 3
I called up Athena and asked her if she wanted to go to the beach.
I was pretty let down about my parents going away for 1 month.
Athena and I were splashing in water, and I fell forwards and got water up my nose and ears. Athena was laughing so much. I tried to get the water in my ears out and I stumbled backwards and fell into someone. I stood up and looked to see who I fell into. It was this boy who looked vaguely familiar. Then Athena walked over and said, “ Well, my friend Bianka is a very clumsy person, and she says she is very sorry so...bye.” Well… that is Athena for you. All I said was, “ Sorry.” When I was turning around to leave. There was someone who walked up behind the boy and said do we know you.To me. So I turned around again, and this time I said, “ Um… well I am the princess of the kingdom so… you may know who I am.”
“No, No. What I mean is that have my brother and I met you before?” She asked
“No?... I don’t think so. You may have mistaken me for someone else… I’m sorry” I said and Athena slowly backed up.
“ Don’t you remember meeting 2 seal people?”
“ Ya, but that was just a dream.”
“No, it wasn’t, that was all very real. You could have died but you didn’t you can breath underwater. You are like us.” The boy who was just standing there said
“ I would believe you if you showed me who you were. Prove to me you are a seal person.”
“Selkie,” He coughed, “ but yes we can show you, Princess”
“Ok” I said
They spat something out of their mouths and turned into sea lions.
I was gawking, which was pretty rude so I closed my mouth.
“Wow! That was amazing, Coral and Peter!,” I said once I remembered their names. Then they turned back.
“Hey, you remembered our names,” Peter said and patted my head like I was a little child
I pouted and crossed my arms over my chest.
“ Also, you never helped us with what we needed when you were little. Could you help us now?” He asked
“ Depends what do you need help with.” I said
“Well, there is this queen… named May. She is evil and if she gets our seal coats she can control us! Every Selkie! Please help”
“Ok… I’ll help you”
“Great! Here is my phone number.”
“Um… Ok?” I looked down at the blue business card which he wrote his phone number on.
“ Well, see you” He said with a big smile on his face.
“Hasta La Vista” I said
Athena and I walked back to my castle. The guards let me in with a simple nod and a smile. Athena and I walked up the sets of stairs until we got to the tower set. The tower was this big rectangular block, with a balcony and many windows. For each season I change up my room, I have a whole storage for my room decorations, all revolving around the one room, and bed. In my room in one corner was my bed with many fluffy pillows. In the middle of the room there was a white square table with candles and some books on it. By the table 1 chair and 1 bean bag sat to sit in while you were at the table. There was a desk with computers, books, and all sorts of things. By the window 2 mirrors hung, beneath that a bookshelf stood with pride. On the opposite side of the room stood the grand bookshelf, clean as can be and over 200 books. On the wall by the bookshelf there was the balcony. On the wall across the bookshelf was the door that lead to my private bathroom. Athena and I sat down on the chairs by the table, me i the beanbag and her in the comfortable chair next to it. Delphia and Mia(the servant) brought in some tea and cookies, we graciously said thank you and asked for them to sit down with us and have tea, but sadly, they wanted not to.
“Why?,” I asked them in a very british accent, “You don’t want to have tea?”
“No, No it is not that it is just that there was a long line of things to do.”
“Not to worry,” I said still with my exceedingly amazing accent,” I shall do the’ chores me self,”
At this Athena laughed because I sounded as though I could have been from the time of Shakespeare and pirates together.
As my fairy godmother and maid left Athena and I sipped our tea quietly, with our pinkies up.
“So…,” I said
“So.” Athena said
I opened my mouth to speak then closed it.
“Hey do you want to invite Sam and James over?” Athena asked,
“ Ya, thats a great idea.” I got out my phone from my pocket and ringed them up.
“GOSH! WHEN. ARE. THEY. GOING. TO ANSWER!!?” I asked. it had been a couple of seconds,” Oh, THey answered” I said as they answered,” Hi, This is Bianka, I am at my house with Athena do you and James want to come over,” I spoke into the phone.
“Ya, that would be fun,” You could hear Sam’s voice say into the phone.
I was pacing my room, it was taking SOOO long for Sam and James to come.
Once they got into my room, we played 5 fun games; Jenga, Bingo, Truth or Dare, Dominos, and Liar's Dice. I won 2 of the games!
Once everyone left I got into my Pjs and went to bed.
“I will capture everyone. I will capture… I will. I will ” I heard a person’s voice say echo throughout my head.
“The’ army will rise and I will take over the’ 3 kingdoms!” The voice said in an evil manner. With a cackling laugh that rang through my head it disappeared like it was never there.
