Lesson Objectives(copied): For students to gain an understanding and appreciation for the role of Herbology in the Wizarding World To give students an understanding of the basic equipment which is used in Herbology To provide students with an appreciation for the uniqueness of plants and an understanding that different plants require a diverse range of care For students to become aware that there are no due dates for first years def Herbology: The study of mundane and magical plants and their uses def Herbologist: A person who does Herbology elder and holly plants look similar. Celandine and a Marsh-marigold may also be mistaken for each other. Not sure which one is good or bad or different bit if you mistake one for the other deadly or terrible consequence could happen.(Confusing don't think just an example I can't understand.) Gear you will need for class: -Dragon Hide Gloves -Earmuffs -Wand -Closed Toe Shoes -Apron -Mask -Dittany(Both) Stuff you will need for plants: -Dragon Dung -Mooncalf Dung -Centaur Tears -Dittany(Both) *Bring the things they are all necessary expectantly the gear!!* Info On Dragon Dung: -Poop of dragons -Don't smell -Used as organic fertilizer Info On Mooncalf Dung: -Poop of mooncalfs -Used as organic fertilizer for sensitive plants -Doesn't have as many or much vitamins as dragon dung[Many or Much I am not sure.] -May not have enough nutrients to help plants grow healthy if it started in bad soil or was weak to start with Info On Centaur Tears: -Use a drink for plants -Comes from Centaurs and can be collected when the Centaur lets you [most of the time] and is crying -Don't give salt water plants the tears because the tears are toxic to them -Don't steal tears from a Centaur it might be illegal
