Along the way, Annie meets some flower pixies, flies through the sky, almost drowns, and fights in a battle between the CODE and the A.T.P.E. Will Annie be able to save her family and friend before it's too late?

Chapter 8
A young woman walked down the hall and stopped at a large metal door. She raised her hand and knocked softly.
“Come in,” came the reply.
The woman opened the door and stepped into the room.
A hooded figure sat in a chair in the center of the room, watching the fire in the fireplace dance like a ballerina.
“What news do you bring?” hissed the voice that came from the hooded one. It sounded like ice, cold and unwelcoming.
The woman gulped. “They have caught the girl. They are ready for you.”
“Good,” said the other, drawing back to hood of the cloak revealing her face. Nine blood red eyes glared across the room at the woman.
“Tell them I am ready,” said Milly.
“Come in,” came the reply.
