Chapter 2 - Helga Hufflepuff

Firstly, let us look at the founder of Hufflepuff house, Helga Hufflepuff.

While the other founders took students based on their ambition, courage or intelligence, Helga took in the rest treating them all equally. She took students who were loyal, fair and unafraid of hard work. She brought in people from all backgrounds and did not discriminate against anyone. She was said to have been kind and caring and was renowned for her compassionate nature. She took in the house-elves to work in the Hogwarts Kitchen where they could work peacefully and safely. 

Who would not want to lead such a life? Everyone should believe in equal rights for all and should be kind to those around them. She may not have been be known for her courage, ambition or intelligence, but it is her caring personality that sets Helga Hufflepuff way above the rest.
