Lesson 1----Introduction to Transfiguration
Chapter 1
Part 1-----Vocabulary Definition:
Transfiguration: A very precise and delicate branch of magic. It is the alteration of objects in our physical world.
Molecule: Basically a group of atoms held together by chemical bonds.
Transformation & Vanishment & Conjuration & Un-Transfiguration: The four branches of Transfiguration. Will be discussed in details in Lesson 2
Transformation Formula: A theoretical formula for "calculating" the difficulty of a Transfiguration.
Part 2-----Key Points
1. Transfiguration is one of the more scientific branches of magic.
2. The Transformation Formula is: t=Z[(wc)/(va)], where t is the difficulty, Z is an unknown variable, w is the wand power, c is concentration, v is viscosity(the thickness of an object), a is the weight of the object(although I think it should be mass).
3. When spells backfire or aren’t completed correctly, it can prevent items from completing their transfiguration.
