.Suicide.

Chapter 1
You want to kill yourself? Go ahead, but before you do, just imagine...

It's Monday night. You're sitting on your bed, contemplating whether you should slice your wrist deeper or not. You had already left notes in your parents room, your sister's room, and your little brother's room, hoping that they get the memo later. Your door is locked so nobody comes inside while you are attempting to end your life. You slowly drag your paintbrush across your skin, causing the red paint to seep out and onto the sheets. You let one last tear fall as you say goodbye, but nobody is going to care, right?

It is now Tuesday morning. Your mother is waiting downstairs for you to hurry up and get in the car. She calls your name and hears no response, she probably doesn't know about the dead body laying on the bed surrounded by dried up blood. Your mother has no idea as to what's taking you so long, so she walks upstairs and knock on your door. No response. She knocks once again, not hearing a peep from your dead body. Your mother tries to open the door, only to find that it is locked. She goes to her room to get a spare key as your body is slowly, but surely, rotting away. When your mother unlocks your door, she screams. Your older sister runs into the room, horrified yet saddened at what she sees. Your mother calls your father as your sister calls the police. Both arrive quickly, the police carrying the gurney with you in it as your parents and siblings mourn.

It is now Wednesday. The school has been notified about your death and calls all students for an announcement in the cafeteria. Your friends all sit together, wondering where you are and what is about to happen. The principal starts the announcement off with a sigh. He/She looks at all the students, noticing that they are all careless and that they're talking to each other. The principal speaks loudly into the microphone, stating that you have committed suicide. Everything stops. Silence is heard, screaming into everyone's ears. Your friends begin to sob and run to the restrooms. The popular girl in school has tears dripping down her face, regretting anything that she did to harm you. The jocks are in hysterics, your crush is sitting with his/her head down, sobbing quietly to him/herself knowing that they'll never see you again. Everyone is crying and some stay emotionless, knowing that they regret everything wrong they have done to you. They're probably faking it though. Nobody is going to care, right?

A week has passed and it is now time for your funeral. Everyone at school has attended, from the people you know well, to those that you've never met before. Close family and friends speak at the podium, trying not to cry in front of the huge crowd among them. After each and every speech, everyone sits for minutes. Hours. Until it's time to leave. All of them are just too lazy to get up. They obviously don't care, right?

It has now been a month since you died. Your family is sitting on your bed, laughing together as they play a game of Go Fish. They have a picture of you form when you all went to the beach for vacation. They love you. They miss you. Your father brings everyone into a hug. He states that they will get through this together. They care, don't they?

Nobody wanted to take your life. Nobody wanted to wake up and find you dead. Nobody wanted this to happen to you, wished for this to happen. Some people knew you were down lately, but did not know that it would escalate to this. They never thought that this would happen. They never thought that your pain was so excruciating that you would welcome death with open arms. They never wanted to face the agony, depression, pain, and anger that is forced upon them.

Had a rough day? Week? Month? Do you think that there is no reason to live? Put a hand to your chest; Do you feel your heart beating? That's your reason to live. Don't give up, you're not alone in this battle. There are so many people that care about you. So ask yourself: Is it worth it?
