Pagan Magick - Spell To Call Joy Into Ones Life

Chapter 11

This spell is similar to the Happiness spell but rather than opening you up to invite happiness in it calls upon Joy to invigorate you and make you feel good again.

Best done during the waxing moon at night.

Best done during the waxing moon at night.

What You'll Need:

  • 3 Cherry-red candles
  • Red Flowers and/or berries (whatever is in season)
  • Red clover, Hibiscus, or other red incense

Set up and decorate your altar with your flowers and/or berries. Look up at the moon and feel her presence through the rays. Light your candles and dedicate them to the fates (joy is very much in their domain) and say aloud:

"Red is my blood, red is my laughter,

Red is the color of life and love,

Gracious ladies, who weave in deep dark places,

Bless me with joy, bless me with luck.”

Do this ritual three nights in a row, burning the candles a bit each night, dedicating them to the fates. On the third night, burn the candles all the way down. Upon finishing the spell, take your flowers (should have dried by then), ashes from the incense, and a few drips from your candle wax and cast them into a body of water over your right shoulder. Walk away without looking back.
