Chapter 4
When Harry came out, he was blown out to a fireplace and as he quickly got out, he saw Hagrid:
"Hey Hagrid, when did y-" he said.
"Oi! Yeh shouldn't be here, yeh know that'!" Hagrid whispered to him. "I don' want ter see yeh there."
"I don't know how I reached there, but I travelled by Floo powder, according to Ron." Harry said.
While they were walking, they met Hermione and Linda.
"Harry, Hagrid." Hermione said, smiling.
"Hello Hermione." Hagrid said.
"Aww, it's so good to see you." Hermione said.
"It's great to see you too."
"Harry!" Linda said, happily. She flung her arms around him and kissed him deeply. "It's so good to see you again, my sweetheart.
"It's good to see you too, my dear." Harry answered.
She hugged him so tight. She asked:
"What happened to your glasses? Oculus Reparo." Harry viewed his glasses and said:
"Well, I'll try and remember that next time."
She beamed at him. Hagrid said:
"Well, I will be off. I think I'm behind schedule, well, you will be alright Harry? Well, bye then."
"Goodbye." They all said.
"Come on, Harry, everyone was so worried." Hermione said, dragging him to follow them.
When they reached to the bookshop, where they sell books, Linda dragged Ron, Harry and Hermione and whispered to them:
"Guys, I need to tell you something. I didn't want to tell you, but, since you guys are good at keeping secret, there isn't any fuss about that."
"Alright, what is it about?" Hermione asked.
Linda maked sure no one was looking at them and said:
"Well, I'm a mermaid."
"You're a what?" Ron said, shocked.
"I'm a living creature that swims underwater, but, doesn't mean that I'm leaving you guys, no I'm not," She looked at Ron. He was pulling a I-don't-believe-you sort of look. "Really! Sorry, I didn't tell you earlier."
"Don't worry, the only good thing is that we all know now. We re-" Ron said.
"We should keep this a secret between us. No one else."
"OK darling, but, we must be careful that no one actually heard us."
"Yeah, let me check, babe." Linda said.
She went closer and then it was clear.
"No one." she said.
"Good." Hermione said, in relief.
"Now, oh! Here it is, The Standard Book Of Spells, Grade 2. Finally, I'm done!" Linda said, happily.
"Well, well, Harry Potter, Famous Harry! Can't even write a book or the front cover."
"Leave him alone!" Ginny said, glancing at him.
"Yeah, Malfoy, get out or I'll beat you down!" Linda said. "And don't even try and take Harry away from me or touch him, because if you do, you won't take it likely with me." She grabbed Harry so tightly that Harry turned slightly pink.
"Oh, Harry, you've got yourself a girlfriend!" Malfoy said, sniggering.
"Draco, be nice!" A voice said behind his back. It was Lucius Malfoy.
"It's good to see you again, Mr. Potter. Lucius Malfoy. He said, bringing his hand to shake.
"Oh, nice to meet you." Harry said, shaking back.
"Well pardon me," he said, drawing him closer. " I really want to see something."
He raised the top of Harry's hair and saw his scar.
"Your scar is a legend." Mr. Malfoy said.
"Voldemort killed my parents." Harry said.
Mr. Malfoy drew him back.
"He was nothing more than a murderer." He said, facing him sternly.
"Ohh, you must be very brave, mentioning his name." Mr. Malfoy said.
"Feared only by his name, much less feared only itself." Hermione said, in-a-matter-of-fact voice.
"And you must be Miss Granger." He said, nodding at Malfoy.
He nodded back.
"Well, I think Mr. And Mrs. Granger are talking to Arthur."
She turned at them.
"Muggles. I think he likes talking to them." Mr. Malfoy said.
"Come on, you guys it's a bit mad in here let's go, come on." Mr. Weasley said.
"Mr. Weasley." Mr. Malfoy said.
"Lucius." Mr. Weasley said back.
"I think they are raising your rades for you, that's an absolute disgrace of yours." Mr. Malfoy said.
"I think we know the right meaning of disgraced for we wizards, Malfoy." Mr Weasley replied.
"Well, you come with robes and books." Mr. Malfoy said. He took The Standard Book Of Spells, Grade 2 from Linda's cauldron and put it back.
"Well, see you at work." Mr. Malfoy said, looking at Mr. Weasley. Malfoy went to Harry and also said:
"See you at school." He eyed him. Ron and Harry and the rest frowned at them.
