Chapter 10 - The Mysterious Diary

Chapter 10
Morning came and Christmas came as well. Outside the school, in the garden, was so white that everywhere was covered. Harry, Ron, Hermione and Linda were outside when Fred said:
"Hey look, the Heir Of Slytherin!"
Everyone laughed apart from them. But Hermione said:
"Ohh, don't worry, very soon this will be over."
"How can it? There is no way they will forget about this."
"There might be a way. I th-" Linda tried to say.
"Don't use the Memory Charm! You might clear all their memories."
"Alright!" Linda answered, glaring at her.
They went to the castle and Ron said:
"Maybe, just get some rest, mate, maybe you might have some ideas."
"OK." He answered.
"Goodbye." Linda said. Linda kissed Harry and he turned to Gryffindor Tower gloomily.
Next morning, they were at the Arithmancy class doing some equations, but, since the teacher wasn't at the class, the headmaster told them that if they have any homework to do that was due to that lesson, they have to get it out and start doing it. So, they all took their homework and start doing it. After half an hour, Harry finished and went to the balcony to go to Gryffindor Tower, he saw a diary on the floor. He didn't know who it was for so he put it in his bag to show Ron, Linda and Hermione later. But then Linda showed and she gasped:
"What are you doing with my diary?"
"Your diary? This looks really danger-"
"Why did you not ask me if it was mine when I was still in Arithmancy class?" Linda asked. "You know what, I don't think we should do this anymore."
"What do you mean?" Harry asked, glaring at her, looking confused.
"We're over!" She yelled. She stormed off, crying. Harry thought why she said that, was it his fault that he didn't ask which diary it belonged? Or maybe it was a secret that she never told anyone? Harry wondered, if he had never upset Linda, he would have asked her what was the diary for, but, since he already broke up with her, he knew there was no way he would lay a word to her at all, unless he might be jinxed. He proceeded to Gryffindor Tower to talk to Ron and Hermione about Linda and her diary.
