I switched off my wifi mode in my phone and started to move around the terrace. Dad must have started his ‘ work ‘ I feel pity for Ariana, she’s really a noble woman. And her son , Ruth, is really a confusing being , ‘cause unlike us he does not have shadows . We can’t even judge what kind off half-blood is he ? but for the first time I have flirted a boy . and he’s not just like other’s he’s different . His black hair, soft tone and the only common between us and him , is the white tone .
We vampires don’t sleep but he does sleep ! he is absolutely different and maybe if our people might run some tests on him they might find an answer about his mom’s kind.



The sun began to scorch the terrace so I went into the house.
My dad sat next to Ruth , maybe he might’ve started telling about his ‘real’ biography. So I sat in the couch. Aunt Ariana gave him the tea .
“Ruth, have you ever wondered why you don’t have shadows?”, he asked.
“well… my mom said it maybe some kind of disorder or something !”, Ruth answered.
“ ITS not a disorder well , its from your birth and its not a demerit for you . its just an exceptional feature.”, he told
“ and Ari is not your mother , at all.”, he continued.
“ wait,……what?”, he was shocked.
“ yeah he’s right I am not your mother . I just adopted you .”, she said with tears rolling from her eyes.” But…but..mom!”,he stammered.
“ we thought this is the right time to reveal the secrets to you , Ruth”, she continued. He sat idol . He was sicken and stood still . “then who are my parents?”,he asked with a torn up voice.
“ RUSSY, your father, Kane Ruswinn , was one of the greatest known personality in our world .”, my dad told in a majestic tone.” What do you mean by ‘ our world’?, he asked .
“ you are the son of a vampire . that’s what I meant!”, he told suddenly without a second leaving his breath.” What ??? me ?? a vamp??? Are you kidding me??”, he was astonished after hearing that he’s a vampire .
“ I am not ’kidding’ I am speaking the reality “, he said in a pin-point-tone. Ruth is totally amazed by now ‘ cause he has a combination of ‘tears and enjoyment’ of being a vampire.
“ then why don’t I have shadows like you guys?”, he posted the question facing me.” Well!”, my dad started , I interrupted him and said that,” we are working on it Ruth . your father didn’t say about your mother’s ‘kind’. So it’s hard to find the second half of your blood belongs to which ‘kind’.” I bet he’s even more running of chaos in his brain .
There were certain things to be said to him before going to New Castle .so I went near him and took his hand and draw him to his room. I sat next to him and started to persuade how important is he to our New Castle community.
“listen , I can understand you’re situation of letting me out to the world of humans may cause some damage to your so-called community! But also think about Ari ! she gave up her entire life just to raise me up properly “,he told.
“ yes I do understand a mother- son relationship! . I too had those ‘risky’ situations were we are ought to take decisions crucially!”, I told.
After a long discussion he accepted to come with us to the place where belong truly. But I feel pity for him and his mother. But if he come there we could train him to be the real vampire and change him to be the one who his father wanted to be.
