Chapter 5- The Giant
Chapter 5
-This chapter is all about the experiences of the main character and Hagrid. Please note that I am not spelling wrong, or using bad grammar. This is simply Hagrid.
"Firs' years over here! C'mon into the boat!" These were the very words that woke me up. Leah was sitting next to me shaking me, whispering for me to get my robes on. I dressed, and then got off the train, Leah close behind. I clambered into the boat and Hagrid was shouting, "C'mon, yer gonna be late!" Hagrid bellowed, before getting into the boat and sailing across the water. "So, yer firs' years. Waddya wanna be in? Slytherin, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, or Gryffindor. My boy 'Arry, he was in Gryffindor. I think that's a great place fer you kids be. But all of 'em are grea'!" Hagrid said, cheerily as the rest of the kids were looking excitedly at the lake. "What is that? It looks like a squid!" one of the kids shouted. A murmur of excitement rippled through the boat. There were a couple more splashes and suddenly, a tentacle grabbed the boat. "WOAH! That's a big one, fer sure!" Hagrid exclaimed as he shielded us. Soon, we safely were in Hogwarts. I'm sitting at the table about to be sorted, but I'm soaking wet. Hagrid saved us from falling into the water, yet splashes were huge. Hope to tell you all about the sorting in the next chapter!
