Today I woke up with a bright smile on my face. An ugly giant came to our door last night and told us all about it. "So firs' you haf ta run straigh' through the brick wall. Then there'll be a train, abou' to go. Hop right on with your luggage, and here, I already got yer books for ya," said the giant, swinging his pink umbrella. He handed us a large assortment of books. Then he vanished. Literally, we heard a crack and he was gone. Then my mother squealed and said, "It's time for you to get your wand! Yay! I watched my sister do this!" So suddenly I found myself in the car driving down to this weird place called 'The Leaky Cauldron'. Apparently that's where you go to get books, robes, and wands. We went inside, and some man guided us to a wall. We stepped in the wall, slowly, and found ourselves in what mom called 'Diagon Ally'. Soon we got my robes, and here's the interesting part. We went to this place, a wand-maker, named Ollivander, and we were told to wait in line to see people waving around sticks, and sparks flying out. When we got to the front, I waved around one, with unicorn hair (I think that's fake) but it made sparks fly. So, my parents bought me that wand. Finally, we went to where the train was supposed to be. We ran into a brick wall that was right in between 9 and 10. Now, finally, I'm sitting on the train writing this. I already made a friend. Her name was Leah.
