Chapter 2 - The Weasleys' Cottage
Chapter 2
Harry woke up in the morning feeling exhausted. He hasn't slept throughout the night because of the scar problem he had. Hedwig came into the window with the response on her beak. He quickly read it:
Harry,
I'll think about the subject of your scar, but the one of Voldemort stealing a sword, you must see me at 30th of March, so we can talk about it.
Stay safe and be letting me know about strange things.
Sirius
Now he had a discussion that Harry had to tell Ron and Hermione. He was so excited that he rushed downstairs to the bathroom to brush his teeth and came to the living room for breakfast. Dudley was sad that Harry was leaving, but, on the contrary, Vernon and Petunia were really amused that Harry was leaving. Petunia asked: "Everything OK, Pumpchin?"
"No", Dudley said, gloomily. "It's sad that Harry is leaving again to his 'lot'."
Vernon comfort him and told him quietly:
"Don't worry, Dudley, you know that Harry can take care of himself and nothing can stop him when that Arthur Weasley, or whatever they call him comes, there's nothing we can do. OK, Dudley?"
"OK dad." said Dudley, straightening up.
"Good. That's the boy I like!" Petunia rejoiced with glee.
Harry was thinking that leaving the Dursley was actually a good idea because the way they act to him and the way he's treated by his uncle was not really acceptable to him, especially Dudley's behavior and attitude to him which is horrible.
Harry was so glad that he was leaving for good that he rushed upstairs and start to pack his belongings and waited for breakfast to be ready. When the breakfast was ready, they brought out: a pile of bread, honey, biscuits and croissants. Vernon started, after a long pause:
"Now that you are leaving forever, there is no point of shouting at you, since you are no longer here. Well, hope you have fun and stay safe, Harry."
Harry muttered something under his breath that sounded like swear words to Vernon, and also with glee because he was leaving their home forever and he was so amused. He rushed his breakfast and as he finished, Mr. and Mrs. Weasley were knocking the door.
"That must be the Weasleys!" He said gleefully. "Finally, I am gone forever!" he added into a mutter happily.
Mr. And Mrs. Weasley came in and told them:
"We have to take Harry immediately!" he called out loud.
Ron kept quiet, he only grinned and waved at Harry. He grinned back at Ron and he whispered:
"Come!"
Ron came to where Harry was sitting and then he announced:
"I've got something to tell you but is better we wait for Hermione when we reach Hogwarts."
"Alright then." he agreed. He went back to his arrival position. Mr. Weasley came and said that Harry must leave immediately. Without any fuss, Vernon told him that he can take him. So, they went to the flying car and without any minute they arrived to their house. Harry asked:
"Mr. Wesley, can I put my belongings in Ron's room?"
"If Ron might agree, it'll be OK." Mr. Weasley answered.
"Ron, can I?" Harry asked.
"Alright. You can. Put them on the floor in my bedroom." Ron said.
Harry went upstairs and fast as he can, he went to keep them and went downstairs. Mrs. Weasley came in and said:
"Hello. Are you alright Harry?"
"Yeah." Harry answered.
"And you, Ronald?"
"Yes." He answered amusingly.
"Well, I have to put stuff. Be right back."
Mrs. Weasley went. Hermione came in late. She was panting:
"Sorry I'm late. Did I miss something?"
"Actually... sorry no, you didn't. And we need to talk to you."
They went to Ron's bedroom to talk about what Harry wanted to tell Ron but he said they should wait for Hermione.
"So, we need you to listen very carefully and give us an answer or suggestions." said Ron.
"Don't start on me, Ron!" Hermione scowled him.
"OK, I GET IT!" Ron shouted back angrily. "So, what do you want to tell us that is so important that you have to wait for this good-for-nothing?"
"I..."
"Excuse me! The person that is good-for-nothing is you." Hermione shrieked.
"STOP IT! THE BOTH OF YOU! WON'T YOU JUST HAVE A DAY WHEN YOU GUYS WON'T ARGUE FOR ONCE? I'M SICK OF IT!" Harry bellowed. " I DON'T EVEN THINK I SHOULD EVEN TELL YOU WITH ALL THIS ARGUMENTS! FROM NOW ON, YOU GUYS WILL STAY AWAY FROM ME UNTIL YOU GUYS STOP QUARRELING!"
And he walked away from them. They glared at each other. Harry rushed into the living room as he saw someone at the door.
"Hi, I'm Linda Granger, Hermione's sister. And you must be Harry Potter." Linda said. "I came here to see my sister."
"Alright, well, she's in a room there with Ronald Weasley. They're arguing. I hate it when they do that!" Harry said, frowning. "If you want to go ahead, I can show you where they are."
"It's my pleasure. No problems."
"After you, then."
They headed to the room where they where.
"Ahem, Hermione, someone wants to meet you." Harry said.
Linda stepped in and said: "Hey, sis..."
"Linda, it's nice to see you."
"What is going on? Why are you arguing with Ronald Weasley? OK, whatever happened, just forgive yourselves and everything is over, is that clear?" Linda asked.
"Yes, sis." Hermione said, gloomily. "I'm sorry for fighting with you."
"I'm sorry too for retaliating." Ron answered, gloomily.
There was a long pause.
"Harry, do you mind, if I talk with you?" Linda asked.
"No, I don't. Let's go somewhere private." Harry answered.
They went to the kitchen, where no one was there.
"Harry?"
"Yes."
"I've been wondering. You're a nice cute guy. You are also a good friend of my sister. But, I have never had a friend because everyone hates me at my old school and I think they..."
"No, don't say that. We appreciate you being here and this can be your home too."
"Really?"
"Yes."
"And I wanted to ask I you could be my boyfriend as well? But if you don't want to, it's OK."
"Of course you can, darling. I love you."
"I love you too, sweetheart."
They kissed a bit long, then they went back to the room to pack for Hogwarts.
"Let me take care of that. Three of you, don't worry, I know what to do. Pack." Linda said raising her wand. All their stuff were packed in an instant. Then, she used her ordinary powers to Apparate from the house to the train station.
