Chapter 14 - The Results Of House Points
Chapter 14
When they arrived, they saw Professor Dumbledore, so they went straight to him and started talking and retelling what happened to them and to Susanna Heath:
"Professor, we did it! We actually did it!" Harry said, happily.
"Well done! Well done!" Professor Dumbledore said, pleased.
"So, what do we do, professor? Ron asked.
"Well, the book said that it contains the most powerful spell ever: it's called Ricracklus Collo. So, we need to decide who is getting that charm." Hermione said.
"Well, Hermione, I think you need it. You are even better..." Ron began.
"No, I think I know who deserves this charm and this person was really close to me and was also willing to sacrifice the life it owns. The person is my sister, Linda Serena Granger." Hermione refused.
Linda went pink and tears were falling on her eyes.
"Darling, you deserve this and be proud of yourself. Look, everyone is proud of you, especially me. Please, take the diamond and the sword from Hermione." Harry said. "Please?"
"Wait, can I ask you something?"
Harry nodded.
"Can I give you a kiss?" Linda asked, still pink.
"OK, you can." Harry answered.
Linda leaned on him and kissed him so deeply she started to cry again.
"OK, guys, collect the sword and the diamond to activate it so we just get to the dormitory." Ron moaned.
"Oh, sorry Ron, I'll take it now." Linda said.
She took the sword and the diamond and activate it and there was a flash of light. She had the power!
"OK, now we can go?" Ron asked.
"Yes, let's go." Harry said. They went there.
Morning came. All the students rushed to do the chores and rushed to The Great Hall to wait for the result of the points of each house. When they arrived, Professor Dumbledore stood up and started to speak:
"As you well know, at the end of the term, each house has to come to the hall and wait for the result of their house points. In fourth place, we have Hufflepuff with 235 points."
The Hufflepuffs applauded in a sigh.
"In third place, we have Gryffindor with 450 points." Dumbledore announced.
The Gryffindor applauded in a sigh.
"In second place we have Ravenclaw with 550 points." Dumbledore said.
"And in first place, we have the Slytherins with 780 points." Dumbledore announced.
The Slytherins were on fire, they were shouting "Yeah!" And high-fiving themselves.
"But, a couple of scenes are earned additional points. To Miss Linda Granger, who always count on her friends, even though she thinks she has to sacrifice herself for her friends, I award her, 70 points."
Linda went pink and Harry gave her a kiss. She went totally pink.
"To Miss Hermione Granger, being honest, helpful and generous to her friends in case of danger, I award her, 50 points."
Ron gave Hermione a big hug and Hermione went pink.
"To Harry Potter, being loyal, generous, helpful and kind towards his friends, I award him, 80 points."
Ron was really pink.
"And to Neville Longbottom, who was willing to help, even though they refused he still understood, I award him, 150 points."
Everyone cheered to Neville.
"We are ahead of Slytherin with 50 points." Hermione cheered.
"And if my calculations are correct, Gryffindor wins The House Cup!" Dumbledore announced.
The Gryffindor were shouting for joy and they were so happy they threw their hats in the air.
