I got here almost 2 days ago and have settled in fine. My house is Slytherin and everyone is very nice, like I expected. Slytherin's are good people, no matter what others say. Sure, we had some bad people, but that's in the past. It's a new day.
Even though, I settled down quickly, I realized I don't have many supplies. My ink spilled on the way here and quills broke in half as well. I even brought extras and those were broken too! My robes are are fine, even though I see most students have more than me. I also didn't get the right books which I sent a letter to my parents about. They say the books should arrive in a week or so. That means I have to borrow from the library. I have found books that are interesting though, may as well check them out while I was there.
I like my classes, though charms is a bit hard for me. I thought charms would be easier for me when really I know a lot about Herbology! That was a delightful surprise. I have made a few friends, all of which are very nice.
