Potions of my Own Design
written by Catherine Desrosiers
This book is recipes of my own design for my personal recollection. Most of these potions are highly experimental, and I do not recommend anyone trying them. It's as finished as I can get, for now. School stuff keeps getting in the way, sadly.

Chapter 8
This potion's name is that for an apt reason. From what I've heard from my 'test subjects', it feels the same as the Cruciatus curse, but lasts for much longer. Around twelve hours, to be precise. However, after three months of treatment with this potion, if they had not died of the pain or gone insane, the subjects no longer feel any pain. A very promising side effect. Inject this directly into the bloodstream.
Ingredients:
Ten raw ashwinder eggs, never frozen.
No-Maj Whiskey, twelve ounces
5 drops of Unicorn Blood
Hippogriff Claw
One bottle Lacewing Flys
Instructions:
1. Break the ashwinder eggs into a cauldron. Stir until smooth.
2. Dice Hippogriff Claw, place in cauldron.
3. Put in two drops of Unicorn Blood, and stir until combined.
4. Place Lacewing flys in one at a time.
5. Pour in the rest of the Unicorn blood, as well as the whiskey.
6. Stir over an open flame until the smoke coming from the potion has the appearance of fire.
7. Bottle it in a corked bottle, NEVER UNCORK. Place needle of the syringe in through the cork.
CAUTION: If the potion's effects are interrupted, the affected's nerves will go into overdrive. Tripping will feel like falling off a cliff, a smack on the back will feel like being stabbed, and just walking will cause immense pain, like stepping on thousands of needles.
