Potions of my Own Design

This book is recipes of my own design for my personal recollection. Most of these potions are highly experimental, and I do not recommend anyone trying them. It's as finished as I can get, for now. School stuff keeps getting in the way, sadly.

Emerald Orchid Potion

Chapter 6
This potion is highly dangerous. It turns anyone who drinks it into a green orchid for all eternity, or the potion is reversed with the blood of one with a cursed name. I came up with this potion because of a No-Maj book about a young girl who was turned into a flower. This potion has the most ingredients in this book, but most of them you can find at an alchemy shop or a botanist's.

Ingredients:
Step One:
Handful of Fluxweed
Handful of Knotgrass
Bottle of Lacewing Flies
Five leeches
Exactly five strands of Wheatgrass

Step Two:
One horn of Bicorn
Another bottle of Lacewing Flies
Jar of Boomslang skin
One fresh Orchid
Unicorn Blood

Instructions:
Step One:
1. Grind the Fluxweed and Knotgrass together until a fine powder. Put it in the bottom of the cauldron.
2. Burn the Lacewing Flies until they begin popping.
3. Put the Flies, leeches, and Wheatgrass into the cauldron.

Step Two:
1. Pour the unicorn blood into the cauldron. This is the catalyst for the magic.
2. Boil the potion until it begins to give off a sickly sweet smell. From one to two hours.
3. Grind the bicorn to powder and mix in with Lacewing Flies.
4. Put the orchid into the potion, placing the petals in one by one, then the stem.
5. Place the Boomslang skin over the cauldron to create a seal. Let it rest for five weeks.
6. Remove the skin and bottle the potion. It should be clear and have a sickly sweet smell. If not, place the skin back on the cauldron and let it sit for another day.
