Potions of my Own Design
written by Catherine Desrosiers
This book is recipes of my own design for my personal recollection. Most of these potions are highly experimental, and I do not recommend anyone trying them. It's as finished as I can get, for now. School stuff keeps getting in the way, sadly.

Sleeping Death Potion
Chapter 2
Another expensive potion, the Sleeping Death potion was inspired by the Sleeping Beauty story. It puts someone into a death-like sleep for a full week. An overdose can put someone into the reverse, and an underdose is just a normal tranquilizer. I went looting throughout the school for the ingredients. This potion doesn't have many uses, unless you want to fake your own death.
Ingredients:
Dash of pure Acromantula venom
Two drops of pure Basilisk venom
Twelve grams of ground poppy seed
Two liters goat's milk
Three grams sugar (Potion tastes like burnt hair without it.)
A live pufferfish
Instructions:
1. Mix the venoms with the poppy and sugar until dissolved
2. Boil the milk in a cauldron and put the pufferfish in. Wait until it stops moving.
3. Mix the venom mixture in.
4. Mix until a bright yellow color.
5. Take off the heat and set it rest until it starts curding.
6. Bottle it.
