The Common Room Part 1 (it's such an interesting name ikr)
Chapter 3
Nikki was following the big crowd hoping that Rain made some friend to talk with in her house. Nikki and Dakota were joking around talking about the muggle song, ‘Pink Fluffy Unicorns Dancing on Rainbows’. They finally got to their common room and learned the password.
They walked to the dorms, Nikki had a room with Dakota, they jumped up and high fived each other. Nikki looked around the bland room, “Err.. this needs some fixing up to do.” She dug in her bag a bunch of pictures of cats and posted them to the walls of the all over the room. “Ugh, not this again..” Dakota shook her head and sat on a suitcase facepalming. Nikki responded by saying, “Well, you should start putting the covers on your bed, shouldn’t you?” “Whatever..” She used a spell to get everything ready, “Done!” She grinned and walked out the door, “Later!”
Nikki was still unpacking and had to get another bag to her room, “Blimey! This is so heavy..” She dragged the lump, another girl was close to her, “You need any help?” Nikki looked at the girl with a red face from the tiring work, “Yes, in fact I do..” She helped Nikki drag the bag, “You are right this is heavy. What did you put in here??” Nikki smiled and said, “Meh, you’ll see..” When they were finally in the dorm the girl dropped the bag and said, “Hey, this is my dorm too.” She laughed, “By the way I’m Evelyn.” Evelyn held out her hand. Nikki shook Evelyn’s hand, “Nikki. Nikki Macaroon.” Nikki fell on a bottom bunk face first that would be her bed (Dakota’s was above hers). She lifted up her head and genuinely said, “Thank you soo much for helping me.” Evelyn sat on the bottom bunk across from her and said cooly, “No problem.”
Nikki opened the bag and out jumped a big fat fluffy white persian cat with bright yellow eyes. Then following a dark brown shorthaired cat almost black with green/ yellow amber eyes. Nikki took them and snuggled with them, “They are so warm, I just want to sleep, stupid unpacking to do and I know no spells.” Evelyn ignored her comment and looked around the room at the cat pictures, “Well, you must like cats..” She chuckled a little.
