Treacle Tart

One of Harry Potter's favourites, it has become much more popular in the wizarding world.

Creates 1 large tart.

Ingredients:

1) One 9-inch pie crust pastry

2) 1 cup of golden syrup

3) 1/4 cup of heavy cream

4) 1 cup of bread crumbs

5) 1 lemon, zested

6) 2 tablespoons of lemon juice

Instructions:

1) Preheat the oven to 375°F, or 190°C

2) Mix the syrup, cream, bread crumbs, lemon zest, and lemon juice together in a bowl, then pour it into the crust

3) Bake in the preheated oven until the filling is set, usually 35-40 minutes.

4) Let it cool until it is ready to serve. You could also top it off with English custard!
