Chapter 6
She watched them.
The others watched them.
All watched them.
The old ones.
They grabbed each other.
They held hands.
Why?
Why, is this done?
Who knows.
She gazed at them.
They gazed at the stars.
The heavens.
The constellations.
The old ones began to make noise.
They made talk.
They spoke.
In unison.
She could not hear their words.

She is here!
His mother is here.
He had been without her for so long.
The one called his sister comes.
He hugs her, his mom.
The sister does not.
Why?
His mind asks.
Why?
Does she not hug?
