WELCOME BACK, dearest readers, to another Issue of HMN! And... HAPPY ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY! Yes, you heard it right, this January marked our magazine's one year anniversary. There may even be a special chapter about it later on... but anyways! Hidden inside the pages of Hogwarts Monthly News Issue 11 are many amazing holidays, like Chinese New Year and (NOT) OPPOSITE DAY! There's also a chapter about money? Hmm, interesting... Chapter 3
Welcome back to another issue of Hogwarts Monthly News, dearest readers! As you all know after reading the first chapter, this January we celebrated our ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY! WHICH IS THE BEST! THING!! EVER! But, of course, a lot more has happened this month... some of it surprising... some of it sad... but all of it news either way!
Let's start off with a quick note of surprise—Marlee Potter, a member of our team here at HMN, was still able to do some work for this issue despite saying last month that she couldn't. However, from now on she will take her break until June because of her exams. Wish her all the best!
Mythology has OFFICIALLY been closed! Sadly, the Magical Studies Groups we have here on site have been too due to low participation rates. However, for anyone wishing to continue with the MSG, it's still available in the Discord version. Just make sure you are over 13!
Just reminding you, there are always PA and Professor applications open, so make sure to check them out!

SELF-DESTROYED! AHHHHHHHHH!!!
Hiya Debnath, the original owner of the magazine before Kyra Shirley, posted in the public group of their magazine, talking about how the magazine had not met her standards—which is why she had shut it down. The post was only up for one day, so only a handful of people saw it, including myself. But after reading this, I'm sure you ALL feel conflicted inside. HSM was one of the BEST magazines around Hogwarts and Kyra Shirley was an AMAZING leader. It's disappointing that we won't be seeing their work again.
