Hogwarts Happenings
Chapter 19
Hello readers! There was a short break from Hogwarts Happenings, but we’re back now and better than ever! This month, there are a couple of cool events and birthdays. Let's get into it!
Birthdays:
♡ 6th of January—Queenie Goldstein.
Known for her charm and skill in Legilimency, Queenie is one of the favorites of the Fantastic Beasts series.
♡ 9th of January—Severus Snape.
The infamous Severus Snape was known as the intimidating, dark teacher, whom no children liked, but we later found out that he had a soft side. He sacrificed his life in the end for Harry Potter and the wizarding world has come to love him.
♡ 26 of January—Gilderoy Lockhart.
Ah, Gilderoy. Sadly, he doesn’t remember himself anymore, but he was a very self-centered narcissist and coward when he did.
♡ 30th of January— Lily Potter.
Lily. The mother of our beloved Harry Potter. She is a character who shows the true meaning of love. Let’s remember her great sacrifice and wish her a happy birthday. Rest in peace, Lily.
Deaths:
There are no prominent deaths in January.
Events:
♡ Harry had his first lesson with Remus Lupin on defending against dementors.
♡ Harry was tasked with retrieving Slughorn’s memory by Dumbledore.
Overall, January is a timid and quiet month when it comes to Hogwarts Happenings. Until next time witches and wizards!
