We have been chug-chugging along on the train for a while now, and Jon and I are the only people in our compartment. Jon is also a first-year. The months leading up to now, Jon and I have created a friendship.
"No, Lizzie, are you stupid? Why would ANYONE want to be in," he fakes a gag, "pukwudgie. Ilvermorny houses are weird."
"I think pukwudgie is kinda cute, ya know, like the hufflepuff of ilvermorny."
Jon just stares at me. "weird."
He moves a little closer to me, and I can feel the warmth of his body. There is something more here, but I don't delve in. I look into his eyes and he looks into mine until-
BANG! the compartment door slams open and we jump away from each other.
"Hello, I'm Marina and this is Gillie. Is this compartment taken?"
"no, um no, of course not, come in"
Marina smiles, "Thanks,"
She and gillie sit down and begin talking. Me and Jon don't speak to each other until the train pulls in.
"s-sorry jon," I say, and rush out of the compartment
