I have only got you left
Chapter 5
I can see my nan's house down the block from my house. I walked there because I am under age to start drving.
I knock on the crusty wood door and someone replied. It was a man. The man was tall and white with a brown mustache and a very small neck. He looked like a elf. He was the care taker for my nan. His name was Renzo. Renzo was a nice man, but if you miss treated him or nan you would soon find out that he is not that nice. He is a halfblood aswell. Like nan he favoured chocolate. Chocolate that has caramel inside of it and sprinkles on top. He asked me who I was and I said " I am the granddaughter of the person you are taking care of" he replied with a huge sigh and said " well you must be Ashton, we have been expecting you" he took me in. I was walking in a dark red room full of books and newspapaers and that red room was also known as the living room of my nan. Nan was sitting on her rocking chair as most most elders would do. She expressed a very large smile and shot me a weird face. I think she knew why I was here. She gathered me into the kitchen where Renzo was making butterbeer and she sat me down. She had a rusty box on her shelf and she grabbed it within a second and unlocked the golden locks. She looked up at me and smiled. She groaned with pain. I imeddiately asked her what was wrong and she replied " nothing my dear I just have a crooked pain in my back" I wondered why? In the kitchen it was much lighter than the living room because it had windows everywhere and the sun was shinning like knowbodys bussiness. She took me into her library and told me to hold the box, she said I had to move to the right of the wall, then she told me to put these weird pair of glasses on. She threw a metal card into the air and it unfolded to show a digital video. I recognised the man who was showing. It was my father, the one who didn't give a dead owl about me and the one who left me. He was talking all about how he knew this day would come. He talked and talked and talked. I came across the words of magic, hogwarts and school. I wonder what he meant. It all made sense to me now. I thought he meant I could go to a magic school at this country named hogwarts, so I told my nan. She chuckled. She said " no Ashton he meant that your a wizard and you are being sent to the hogwarts school of magic. I replied with " no your wrong nan all I have is you and if I go there I will have no one" she said your ride will be here tommorrow and your house will be sold for money to help with my medical care. I understood the house part but not the hogwarts part. I stood there holding the rusty box. She took it off me and showed me all these papers of this large castle and said "this is hogwarts". It was large very very large. She sent me out of the front door and said bye, the last bye I would ever hear from her.
