Dark Artifacts [ Low & High levels ]
Chapter 3
Low Level Artifacts :
GREEN CLOVERS:
It is used to create a storm for a while which helps to disappear or to create a sudden attack on your opponent. It is widely used by lower level criminals during the first wizarding war.
BLUE DIAMONDS:
It is used to make your body hard for 10 min. One can dodge many hard spell effects and sometime can reduce its effect by using it.
High Level Artifacts :
"The glass of horned serpent"
It is still doubtful about its existence in this world but a few very old wizards say that
this is still hidden beneath the great walls of china to protect it from the dark wizard community.
It is famous for absorbing any type of spells into its core even the deadly unforgivable curses, even the “Avada kedvra” can be absorbed by this ancient glass.
Some others say that in ancient times to send criminals to Azkaban aurors used this glass to save themselves from dark wizards who can caste killing curses even without using any types of wands or so.
"The Opal Necklace" is a cursed Dark object, made of opals, that was, for a period of time, on sale at Borgin and Burkes. It was claimed to have taken the lives of nineteen different Muggles.
The necklace has a very deadly curse placed on it. When it makes physical contact on the victim, the curse would spread rapidly on the recipient, the level of the effect dependent on the amount of contact made; if simply brushed against a small amount of skin, then the victim would enter a trance of emptiness, levitate gracefully but eerily six feet above, then suffer such anguish that they will scream and thrash so wildly that they cannot recognise anything around them and fall back down, and if left untreated by a powerful enough counter-curse, it would lead to the curse spreading further and eventually death. Even after such treatment has been administered, it would take the victim around six months to fully recover at an institute such as St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries.
Should a person be unfortunate enough to hold the necklace barehanded or wear it, it would cause death, perhaps instantly. Preventing the curse from affecting the holder would require avoiding any direct contact with the necklace, such as gloves or packaging paper.
"Staring glass eye" is a glass eye that stares at people. It was among the Dark items for sale in Borgin and Burkes in 1992.
"Spider-like tweezers"
This instrument was similar to a pair of tweezers, but it had multiple "legs" and acted like a spider. A pair of these was owned by the Black family, and was among the old items that were being cleaned out of 12 Grimmauld Place in 1995.
"Black Quill"
The Black Quill[1] is a dark magical object of torture that is a type of quill that does not require ink, as it writes with the blood of the person using it. It was invented by British Ministry of Magic employee.
What the user writes will be carved onto the back of his or her hand and the blood from the words sliced into the hand will be magically syphoned and be used as ink on the parchment. The wound on the back of the hand will then heal, slightly redder than before, and then open up when the user writes again. Continuous use of it will eventually scar the back of the hand. The quill is black, long, thin, and extremely sharp.
"Hand of Glory"
The Hand of Glory is a magical instrument which appears often in mystic lore. In general, it is described as a severed and preserved human hand, (maybe made of wax) with a candle implanted on it. The various powers ascribed to a Hand Of Glory include the ability to immobilize anyone who looks at it, or unlock any door it comes across. It was traditionally used by thieves, since it allowed them to see in otherwise total darkness, open locked doors, and immobilize guards. In some dark magical ceremonies, Hands of Glory were reputed to have been used as the source of illumination.
The hand is said to be that of an executed criminal (usually by hanging), most often the criminal himself is a murderer or other serious felon. Other myths say that a hanged man's blood is necessary to the recipe, or that his body fat is used to make the candle.
"Crushing Cabinet"
A Crushing Cabinet is a torture device consisting of an iron cabinet in which a person is slowly crushed, as they find the walls, floor and ceiling closing in. The crushing walls are activated by closing the door shut.
"Dark Curio"
A Dark Curio is a very strange and interesting object which evokes curiosity.

Sonnets of a Sorcerer, which forces the reader to speak forever in limericks
A book that sears the eyes of the reader
A book that the reader cannot stop reading or dispose of.

"Flesh-Eating Slug Repellent"

"Vanishing Cabinet"
A pair of Vanishing Cabinets will act as a passage between two places. Objects placed in one cabinet will appear in the other.
The cabinets seem to ward off all known defensive spells, as they were successfully used to transport several Death Eaters from Borgin and Burkes into Hogwarts School.
If one cabinet is broken, a transferred object is trapped in a kind of limbo; repairing it seems to be a very difficult task. The incantation used for the repair process is Harmonia Nectere Passus, which would require tremendous and repeated efforts.
An ornate crystal bottle with a large opal set into the stopper, full of what looked like blood.
Boxes, made of tarnished silver and inscribed with languages.

A grandfather clock that shot heavy bolts at passers-by.
A music box that played a faintly sinister, tinkling tune when wound that nearly knocked everyone out Kreacher stole this back, but it was then stolen from him by Mundungus Fletcher after Sirius' death.
